2 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon mace
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon clove
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup currants
1/3 cup capers
1 1/3 cup onion

COOK LENTILS TIL TENDER. ADD ALL INGREDIENTS AND REFRIGERATE. ADD CURRANTS AT VERY END APPROX 1 HOUR PRIOR TO SERVING.
