Ingredients•Moong Dal 1 cup •Saunf 1½ tsp •Chopped Garlic 2 tsp •Chopped Green Chilies 1 tsp / to taste •Chopped Coriander Leaves ½ cup •Chopped Tomato 1 •Coriander Powder 1tsp •Turmeric Powder ½ tsp •Chaat Masala 2tsp •Salt and Sugar To Taste •*(Methi , Kalaunji, Saunf, Ajwain) – Mixed in equal proportion 2tsp •Butter 1 ½ tbsp •Lemon Juice ½ lemon •Cauliflower 1 cup •Green Peas 1 cup •Refined Oil 2tbsp
Directions: How to Cook Masala DalWash the dal, crush the saunf, Boil the dal, along with the garlic, chili, coriander leaves, coriander and turmeric powder, chaat masala, salt and sugar. Make sure the dal is well cooked. After the dal is cooked blend it well. Keep aside. Heat oil in a kadai, add the spice mixture*, sauté for 1 minute. Add cauliflower and peas in it and cook till done. Add the cooked dal into it, add required amount of water and bring it to boil. When done add the butter. Serve hot with lemon juice sprinkled.
